In the beginning, it was love that cannot come true. I've always loved Rin. We had a close relationship ever since we were little, and I still love her. I could tell her that I love her, but there is one little problem... She is a maid! She has been working under the Kagamine resident for a long time. I am the son of the richest man in Japan. If you don't believe it, then look at where I'm living. I live in a mansion for God's sake! If only my parents weren't so god damn rich, then I might be able to tell her. But instead I end being rich, oh and the other problem. My father has made arrangements for me with another girl that I never even met before! And yes, I do mean arrangements for marriage. Now everyone in mansion is going to know and she is going to know soon as well.
Before I continued with my thoughts, I was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Len-sama. Your tea is ready and I made banana pudding for your dessert today."
Rin was standing near me with a tray of tea and banana pudding. She put the tea set on the reading stand next to me and started pouring some Honey bush tea. After she was done pouring, I took the cup and drank the sweet taste of honey. While I was drinking the tea, Rin asked a question, "So the marriage has been decided, right?"
I choked and tried to swallow the tea, "What?! Where did you hear that?"
"It's already a hot topic to talk about in the mansion." Great! Now she knows about the arranged marriage. I wonder how she reacted when she heard the news. "She's the lady who is famous for her beauty right? Everyone is saying they are jealous." When she said that everyone was jealous, shouldn't she jealous as well? I answered back, "Father just conveniently said that. How to marry someone I've never met before. Now it's just the greeting."
I stopped and looked up at her. She looked cheerful, "You met her didn't you? Ri-." "Congratulations." Rin cut me off and I went silent. "I'm sure that Len-sama will be pleased with-. Since a while ago it was as if you would tell me that I should get married soon."
Why? Why was she so happy? Shouldn't she be at least sad? "Are you happy if I'm with someone else?"
She looked at me for a while until she said, "Of course. Cause Len-sama's happiness, is my happiness too." She gave a cheerful smile that was too adorable to resist. "My happiness?"
I got out of the leather chair and Rin moved back one step, "Rin, you don't understand... What I really, really want. You don't understand anything!" I jumped at her and grabbed her wrist. I put her against the wall and started kissing her. Her lips were so soft and warm, and her kiss was sweet as the honey bush tea. She tried to push me away but she knew that I was too strong to be pushed back so she kissed me back. We both fell to the floor, and broke the kiss. She began to cough a little and was turning red as she put her fingers over her lips. "I never thought of you as only a maid. I love you." I can't take it anymore! I must tell how I feel before its too late. She needs to know or else she will never know how I feel.
"Ever since the time, we first met I've always loved you."
